Choose now.

Jane Marczewski was an American singer & songwriter who went by the stage name of Nightbirde - you may remember her from America's Got Talent. Jane recently passed after a courageous fight with cancer.

During her audition, she said something that literally stopped me in my tracks as it resonated with me on an incredibly personal level.

“You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy”.

I think about that sentence often. This painting is a nod to Nightbirde and a reminder to myself that as difficult as life can be, we also have a lot to be grateful for.

There are three circles in the middle, representing the past, present and future, with the focus being on the present - however not to forget how far you're come and where you're heading. I've included some of my favourites in this painting, using my contemporary style - people, water, mountains, wildflowers, cloud formations, green hills of the hinterland, the colour of the red earth; just some of the things that give me happiness. This piece is deliberately detailed and intricate because that's what life is; it's complicated, interwoven and beautiful

This print available is in the following size (W x H):

500mm x 665mm

750mm x 1000mm

1000mm x 1335mm

A limited edition print of 30 copies only per size, printed on either cotton rag paper or canvas.

Print On Canvas
380gsm premium 100% cotton stretched canvas, poly cotton acid free base with archival pigment inks

Print On Paper
290gsm cotton rag paper, acid free with archival pigment inks.

This print is sold unframed and is delivered in a postal tube.

Free shipping in Australia.
