Assemblage - Original Painting

'Assemblage' was inspired by a view from a hill of a rural bushfire approaching, in the heat of a summer afternoon, and the way assemblages of vegetation can fuel it and how plant and animal species impacted respond to the outcome of fire. Using colour and energetic gestural marks to convey the heat, intensity and movement of the fire and the beauty of the landscape.
